A shorter edition today!
As I’m writing this I’m 50 minutes away from leaving on holiday.
But instead of skipping this week, I wanted to share a quick packing update: which GBA games I'm taking with me:

1. V-Rally 3
It’s just an awesome technical showcase for the Game Boy Advance. The “pseudo-3D” graphics still blow my mind.
But mainly, it’s perfect for five quick 2-minute stages while my girlfriend is watching a series in the evening. The game plays great as well so I’m sure I’m going to enjoy this one.

2. Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
This will be my absolute time killer.
When I know I have a solid 30 to 60 minutes of uninterrupted time (like during my flight), I’m going to have a lot of fun with this turn-based strategy game.
The levels so far haven’t been too hard. But it’s a lot harder to go for a perfect score, which I’m trying to go for of course!

3. 2-in-1: Sonic Advance & ChuChu Rocket!
Sonic Advance is fun for a quick run, but to be honest, I usually get tired of it after a few levels. Especially with this GBA version.
The real reason this cartridge is coming along is ChuChu Rocket!
I booted it up for literally five minutes while packing my bags yesterday and got instantly hooked on the puzzle mode. It's perfect for quick sessions while waiting for my gate to open, or just killing time on holiday.

Next week: The Holiday Verdict
Did I actually play all of these or did they just end up gathering dust at the bottom of my bag?
Consider this a little teaser. Once I’m back, I’ll share the full breakdown: how each game held up, what surprised me, and a few fun facts about them that I dig up along the way.
I’ll catch you all next week when I’m back!
